I have known of Franco and VZ Real Estate since moving to Keperra. I would often see Franco & Michael at the local coffee shop, buying coffee for themselves and their staff members.

Over the past ten years Franco has been to my home to provide me with a valuation and I always found him to be friendly, positive and professional.

I knew I would get him to sell our home when the time came and we were so pleased we did. He never pressured us once for any reason at all. He gave great advice, made us feel so comfortable and relaxed and respected that we were selling our quaint, much-loved home, not just a 'property".

I can’t say this about any other real estate agent that I have ever dealt with, I believe what he says, and he does what he says he will do.

He is a no bullshit person and will give it to you straight whether you want it or not.

If you are looking for an agent that promises you everything you ask for and then spends the entire time convincing you that the "market is telling you that your property is worth way less than I valued it at one week ago and you have to drop the price", then read no further, there are hundreds of them circling at the bottom of the agent ocean, and if that is whom you are looking for you won’t be disappointed, pick anyone else.

However, if you want someone that will back themselves in on their valuation, believes in your property and what he has told you, then Michael will sell your property at the right price for you with no fuss or bullshit.
I have used Michael, successfully in over 12 transactions over 20 years.

I have also spoken with Michael on numerous occasions over the years on real estate trends and feelings. He has always been happy to talk with me and I have always listened to his advise.

It was with great sadness we heard of the owners circumstance change which means you will no longer be managing the rental we are in.

Having rented for the better part of 20 years, I cannot explain the difference for a tenant that you and your agency provides. Your communication and timeliness is honestly something I have never once experienced before. I looked forward to our regular visits, and if you noted any issues with the property at all you were quick to ensure these were rectified immediately or let me know if you needed us to attend something we had not noticed.

Luckily - we didn’t have too many issues in this house at all, but the one time we had a serious power issue I called you directly - and you had an electrician at my house within 30 minutes. Unbelievable. In past experiences with other real estates, this situation could sometimes turns into a week long back and forth email conversation, but you guys just get things done. It is absolutely impressive, and in todays society where customer service feels like its fading, a person can feel the difference straight away between you guys and all the others.

You noticed things in the house that we hadn’t, and made sure that any problem was attended to when it was first identified, and before things could become worse (and probably - more costly!). We never had to chase you up on anything.

I have, and will continue to tell anyone needing anything real estate wise, to go and see you and your team, and as soon as I’m lucky enough to have a rental property, you will be the one I call.

Franco made the sale of our house so easy as we were interstate and the house was leased. Every consideration was made to making things convenient for us, the tenant and also being honest about helping us find genuine buyers who could work to our timing. Great service and just a good person to deal with. Such a nice change!

Sue works her butt off. The property was sold within a very short time on the market and for the amount that was estimated at the beginning of our negotiations. Michael sold me the property almost 20 years ago, managed the rental for most of that time, was always there to talk to about options, then generated a solid number of prospective buyers and sold the property within 2 weeks right in the estimated price range. He's someone who knows his area inside out from decades of running his own agency there. He's also someone who is easy to trust with your investment, and a nice guy to boot.

We drove up a street and saw a for sale sign, surprised the agent said he would meet us there 1 hour later we didn't have to wait for an open inspection.

We met Michael Verstandig at the appointed time.

He showed us through the door and said go for it I'm not going to harass you, we had a good look and then talked with Michael about a few things which led him to explain there was 2 offers to be submitted to the owner on Monday, this was Sunday. To our surprise Michael said he would give no indication at all about the other offers as he worked for the owners, I was impressed and said now there's three.

I received a phone call on Monday to say our offer had been accepted, great news.

Michael did a great job for the owner I know this from the new neighbors who are friends of the owners.

My experience with Michael as the purchaser was also brilliant no problems at all, he even dropped the new house keys off to us after settlement with a bottle of wine to celebrate.

I recently purchased a house from Franco, from the first inspection to the house settling Franco was great to deal with. Very approachable, friendly, creditable, wasn’t pushy like other agents, he never once did the ‘this house is great agent speech’. Franco gave you time to look at the house and ask him any questions.
